Teachers Always
- Keep Level 1 & Level 2 swimmers within arms reach.
- Have all students in front and within view of them.
- Follow the specific teaching guide, step-by-step.
- Teach and attend to all swimmers simultaneously.
Teachers Never
- Use whistles or yell at students.
- Use flotation devices for more than 20% of session.
- Start or end a lesson late.
- Teachers never alter assigned teaching spaces.
Our Academy
WAVE™ Academies are designed for safety and efficiency.
- Pool Deck Supervisors are responsible for assessing each swimmer's skills.
- Users get notified via the WAVE™ app when a level is completed. Progress can be viewed on the app.
- Digital certificates are earned and paper copies can be requested at the front desk.
- Each level has a different certificate. There are 10 certificates to be earned.
WAVE™ Teachers
Certificates are awarded after the completion of all skills on a given level.
- Our pools are 0.8m deep in all areas to ensure highest safety standards.
- All swimmers have to be able to stand on the bottom of the pool.
- Swimmers are always within view of supervisors, safety personnel and parents.
- Every teaching station has side access.
- Our facility is designed to accommodate a good flow and organization of students.
- Parents can view all lessons from the viewing deck.
